Little on the creation:
Originally a longer piece in which I sang in. I ultimately decided the first part of the song didn't fit. I felt like it was a little heavy-handed on its name sake. The original one would have been 6 min with a long intro of bells and horns painting the picture of a depressing wake. I'm happy it turned out a little boppy in the end.
